"Back to normal. (Whatever that means!)"
Dear Friends of First Church,
After our combined worship last Sunday, we will be ‘back to normal’ this upcoming Sunday, August 22nd. Although, I am not sure what constitutes normal for this congregation! We will be back to our normal times of 8:25 traditional worship and 11:00 contemporary and children’s worship.
This Sunday is promotion Sunday for our Children’s Sunday School classes, as they will be moving up to new classes with new teachers. We will also be presenting new Bibles to our eleven 3rd graders during the 11:00 worship.
Thanks again for a great Sunday, last Sunday. And thank you for not being a ‘normal’ congregation. God loves diversity and uniqueness!

P.S. Due to the renovation of our Children’s Education Wing, Children’s Worship will be in room #300 instead of #200 for the next few Sundays. (Just go one floor directly up!) We continue to hear two very encouraging phrases concerning our renovation project. Those two phrases are: “On Schedule” and “On Budget”. We are almost exactly half way done with the total renovation of the education wing. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and faithful support!
